The hostel itself is surrounded by stunning views, charming gardens, and peaceful hammocks, providing the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. I particularly appreciated the well-maintained summer terrace, where I enjoyed quiet mornings listening to nearby streams and the sounds of local wildlife. The accommodations are simple yet cozy, and I was grateful for the upgrade to a spacious double room complete with a comfortable bed and adequate mosquito netting. Clean shared bathrooms made my stay practical, while complimentary bottled water and tea/coffee offered convenience. What truly sets Chiang Dao apart is the exceptional hospitality from the staff, especially during my time of need. They ensured I received the proper care when I was injured, underscoring the warmth of the local community. For those seeking adventure, the hotel also offers rental bicycles and access to hiking trails that showcase the surrounding beauty.
